Gerard Nijman: Dr. Gerard Nijman, a well-experienced and recognized rubber technologist has 33+years’ experience in rubber processing and tyre manufacturing. Currently, he is working as the Head of R&D and Technology Rubber Machinery at KraussMaffei Extrusion GmbH, Germany. In the past, He worked at Apollo Tyres (former Vredestein), Netherlands (29 yrs) as R&D Sr. Expert and also worked at HF-Tiretech Group, Germany as Head of Extrusion Process Engineering. He is awarded with 17 patents and received “Europe Rubber Technologist Award 2016”. He is a regular invited speaker and trainer at tyre and rubber industry conferences and workshops across the world. His educational credentials include:  Ph.D in Polymer Processing ((University of Twente, Netherlands) and Master´s degree in Rheology (University of Twente, Netherlands).
